Project Pashu Raksha Approach

In order to effectively deal with the issues faced by the domestic animals in India, Project Pashu Raksha has developed an approach that allows us to qualify and quantify the animal healthcare situation in any village as well as to reach out to educate and help the villagers understand the necessity of keeping their livestock well and healthy.

* Conduct baseline surveys to get the livestock and animal health situation in the identified area
* Build Rapport  with  the Local community
* Organize a village level community workshop on Livestock and Animal Health Care
* Identify responsible people in the village community to play the roles of Community based   Organization, Animator and Community Organizer
* To discuss Community Based Animal Health Care concepts and methods where the roles of the    participants are defined (CBO, Animator and Community Organizer)
